Several independent links dedicated to reviewing flashlights voted this Streamlight as the best household flashlight on the market. Amazon.Com reviews were also 5-Stars. I bought two of these STREAMLIGHT 3C flashlights from Amazon.Com in March 2009. They are amazingly bright. I use them outside more than inside. They are great around sheds, barns and garages. They are as advertised. Effective viewing distance is about 100 yards. The one negative I read from another reviewer is actually a positive for me. The on/off button on the rear end is designed to be used like cops and Federal Agents carry their lights with the flashlight suspended in one hand with thumb on the rear of light and weapon held in the other hand. The button can be gently pressed and the light comes on without having to fully click it in. This function serves as an immediate on/off selection and is quite useful. A strong thumb can press the button to lock it in. Otherwise, it might take two hands for some. These are the best flashlights I have ever owned. After 11 months of daily use, they have proved extremely durable and are as good as new.

Great price. great service, great product. I own two early versions of this light. They were outstanding with great battery life, However the brightness of these lights are absolutly fantastic.

This is an awesome flashlight. The center beam is like a spotlight that can send a focused beam longer than a block. The peripheral beam is much weaker than the center focused beam but, when aimed downward for walking at night, it illuminates a five foot diameter circle very well. Combined with the battery efficiency (long illumination time on one set of batteries), this is an amazing flashlight.

Great flashlight, and ultratough! I dropped it several feet and it landed on on its end on concreate, and the light went out. I thought it was a goner, but when I took the batteries out I found that the batteries had caved in. I replaced the batteries, and the flashlight was fine!

Bought this because it was a top reviewed LED flashlight that uses standard old battery size C. I love it and it puts the old maglight into retirement. Much brighter for much longer and with a better beam than any old fashioned flashlight I've used.

The image is of the multiple led model and needs to be fixed. The luxeon model has ONE LED, which conflicts with the picture.

The Streamlight 33244 3C Propolymer Luxeon Flashlight is much, much brighter than the old style flashlight. It comes with a cord as well as a clip on the side that's useful for attaching the flash to a belt or a backpack. The bright yellow of the case makes it easy to spot. The only thing I don't like is the position of the on/off switch; It's a soft button at the rear end of the case. One has to hold the case in one hand and push the button with the other.

and it hasn't let me down yet. It has good light throw, and is tough and impact resistant.

I thought this product was a great value. I've had the 4aa streamlight for about a year now which I use for work. The use of that light led me to purchase this light for use around the house. I wanted a larger brighter light than the 4aa and thats exactly what i recieved. Streamlight has a great warranty program, the lights are very durable, I tend to be clumsy and drop them quite a bit, so having a sturdy dependable waterproof flashlight is perfect for me.

I think I've had a hundred cheap flashlights and decided to make an effort to find (and be willing to pay a premium for) a really good one this time. "Good" meaning well-made and dependable, waterproof, with a serious strong beam of light. This one has a lifetime LED bulb that provides a surprising, strong, nicely balanced focus of light in a right-sized body and weight. Feels good in hand, small enough to fit in a pocket or clip on a belt, but provides a full-sized powerful light. Ideal really. I recommend this light to anyone who's looking for a good tool and willing to pay more to get it.
