Streamlight 3C Propolymer Flashlight is tough, lightweight, affordable, alkaline battery-powered personal flashlight. It is an impact and shock resistant flashlight that provides 5.5 continuous hours of run time on three C size alkaline batteries. It uses a 785 mA xenon gas-filled module providing Up to 16,000 peak beam candlepower (50 lumens). The Streamlight 3C Propolymer Flashlight has a virtually indestructible, non-conductive polymer case with a scratch-resistant face-cap and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens. The Streamlight 3C Propolymer Flashlight is approved for use in hazardous locations (Class I, Division 1). UL Listed for Class I, Division 1; Class I, II, Division 2; Class III. UL Listed to Canadian safety standards for Class I, II, Division 2; Class III. This flashlight is built like a tank; it is MSHA certified for use in areas with methane in the air, so it's the perfect flashlight to keep around if you are a professional who often find him/herself in a dangerous location.

The version I tested has a Xenon bulb, and produces a fairly bright yellow light. The light is nowhere near as bright as from most >1Watt LED lights out there, and Streamlight does make an LED version of this lamp.

The clip is sturdy, and a ring is included to hook a lanyard to it.

I only spent $12 on mine, and that is about the most I'd be willing to pay for a non LED flashlight, but if you need a flashlight with specifcations like this, then the usual price is certainly worth it.

I like that the flashlight seals well for dirty environments, but it's just not that bright. I expected the 10 LEDs to put out a super bright beam, but I compared it to a 3D cell Maglite and the Maglite is so bright it totally overpowers the Streamlight beam. I would not buy this one again... I'd just get another Maglite.

I depend on a good flashlight in my job. Save your money, you can buy a $3 flash light with more light out put than the Xenon. Not worth the money they are asking.
