I love this flashlight. the LED's are plenty bright for most uses, and the zenon bulb outshines my old 3D cell Maglight. Seems durable, but I have never had a need to test it in extreme conditions. It is also a bit long to stash in a pocket or the small purses that my wife prefers, but they do make a lithium cell version that is smaller if that is your need. Personally, I like the cheapness of the 3AA's

The LED's do give off a blue tint that my wife isn't too fond of that, but the trade off for 80 hours of battery life is more than worth it.

For what I paid for this flashlight I was impressed with how far the beam projected. I have not used it long enough to determine battery life. However it was an added bonus that Batteries WERE included!

I bought this flashlight because I wanted to have a compact flashlight that I could put on the nightstand of a guest bedroom as an emergency use item. I wanted something that looked nicer and that was sturdier than a cheap plastic flashlights you find at the giant warehouse stores.

This turned out to be a great choice. It hasn't gotten much use but it still has the same batteries I put into it a year ago and has served me as an emergency light a few times.

The light has two modes:
a) LED (3 bright, slightly blueish LEDs) - bright but they're NOT the really powerful and more modern 3W LEDs out there
b) regular xeon bulb (which produces a nice white light)

I find myself using this flashlight in its LED configuration most of the time which provides enough light when its dark. Recently, I used it to look behind my television (in an armoir) during the day and I did have to use the xeon regular bulb configuration to get enough light.

Overall, I can't say enough great things about this flashlight. It's made of solid aluminium and has a very solid rubber push button switch. It takes 3 AA batteries. I have the larger version of this flashlight Streamlight 51012 3 C-Cell Xenon/6-LED Twin-Task Flashlight, Titanium which has traveled the world with me to Africa and beyond and still has the same batteries I put in it 3 years ago. That larger flashlight sits on my nightstand as my emergency backup.

Overall, these are great flashlights. If you want something better than the average run of the mill plastic cheapie flashlights, look no further.

This is a great light I have purchased more lights for other people also and they love them. This is a great product & I plan to purchase more.

Bought this flashlight for my wife. It is light weight, has a nice bright light and looks nice on her bedside table.
