4.0 out of 5 stars Quality Light but no rear button
It's a great quality light, and small, just what I was looking for. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a rear button and the side button has to be pushed in all the way and clicked on before the light goes on.

I paid 8 bucks for this light with a Li battery. Not bad, but i tend to use my nicer lights more often than not.

I like this light very much. It has a good xenon bulb and a bright set of LED bulbs. The only complaint is that I would like to be able to use both at once for maximum brightness. Otherwise, I don't see the reason for the third click. Right now, the light is click1 = xenon, click2 = LED, click3 = xenon, click4 = off. I was expecting click3 to either be both xenon plus LED or off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very handy, great for the glovebox, March 29, 2009

This review is from: Streamlight 51014 TT-1L 1-Lithium Xenon/3-LED Twin-Task Flashlight, Titanium (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought four of these, one for myself and three for gifts. The dual lighting is very useful, LEDs for low light to light a dark path and most uses, and the Xenon lets you see something you might need a lot of light for.

I specifically wanted the CR123 lithium model, which makes this little light perfect for the glove box. I had always had trouble with alkaline batteries dying from the heat and cold, but the lithium seem to hold up very well, and good management makes the battery life very long, in fact my son is very careful about using his and it still has the original battery in it two years plus. He only uses it to work on the computer or during a power outage, I think he is going for a record.

You can find the CR123 batteries for under $2 on the internet, and they are three volts, so you get the same power as a two cell normal alkaline type batteries.

If you want something with a little more light, consider the 2L, meaning it has two batteries, which some might prefer, but this little one is very convenient for sticking in the wife's purse, or the pocket.

It is very rugged and a little heavier than your typical plastic flashlight, but seems to hold up well, and has good fit and finish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great flashlight to have around, January 7, 2009
This flashlight is very light and compact. Easily fits into our pocket. On/off switch is cleverly located and appears to be weather tight. Clicking the button once turns the flashlight on, which emits a very bright Xenon light, good for pointing at objects in the distance. Click button again, you get the LED light white emits a bright white light, good for close up, and those worried about prolonging battery life. Click again, then back to the bright Xenon. Last click turns the flashlight off. Great item, and would highly recommend having one to help you through those "dark times."

3.0 out of 5 stars Durable, Light, Compact, June 2, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I like this flashlight. It is definitely compact (I keep it in my backpack 24/7), extremely durable (dropped it quite a few times on concrete and it never phased it), lightweight and pretty bright for its size. However, I was expecting it to be a bit brighter. I suppose I was hoping for something taht would light up an entire corridor versus an area.

It is definitely functional, especially with its 3 different types of lights, and I use it all the time when I do not have light.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok for the price, August 25, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Streamlight 51014 TT-1L 1-Lithium Xenon/3-LED Twin-Task Flashlight, Titanium (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is a handy light, and a decent value. When compared to a SureFire flashlight, this is nowhere near as good (although the SureFire is 3 times the cost). The beam adjustment doesn't seem to work very well. It is useful to have the two intensities available in one unit, though, and it is better than a bulky D cell flashlight.

this light is not all what it claims to be! it is ok as a spare one but not as your only small light.
