Great product, gives you hands free use, great if you want to use hiking or camping, I use it to walk my dog at night in stead of trying to fight with a regular flashlight in one hand and a leash in the other. It has an easy adjustable head strap for any hand size and adjustable lamp for chaning viewing direction.

The headlamp is good enough that we ordered a second one after seeing it. We live WAY out in the country and find ourselves using them for far more than we had originally planned. We don't use the filament bulb since we prefer the brighter LED bulbs. For the price we are really pleased with the product.

I love these headlamps and have now ordered them for all of my help. We use these all the time for everything from working in attics & crawl spaces to reading in the car. I have found the 3 optional lighting configurations to be very useful.

Most of the reviewers praise the design. I agree that flashlight with head harness is a great idea. I had many of similar products and by now all my handheld flashlights are retired.
I find this one being too expensive. Before going for it ask yourself if you really need three modes of operation.

I ordered these for my husband who is a Mail delivery person...
He says its exactly what he needed to be able to see where
he was walking and be able to read addresses on mail...
They are great for walking the dogs,
walking to your garage after dark, and especially
come in handy when your electricity goes out..!
Hands free..! Light weight ...!

I bought one of these to replace the highly-rated but not-so-good Petzel unit I had paid way more for. This lamp does what the specs say it will. It's not as bright as the Petzel (when the Petzel worked), but it works when you need it. I liked it well enough to buy a second one for my wife in our outdoor adventures.

The light works perfectly although I needed to use tape to get the strap to the right size for my head.

these things are just as handy as things that have a lot of hands. except it goes on your head to free up your...HANDS !!!

I went camping for the first time in many years. I had to be responsible for everything of my own because I went by myself, with a group of people I didn't know. My adult son told me I needed this so I got it and boy was he right. This was such an important item. I would never go camping again without it.

I bought this headlamp based on previous reviews and thought it was reasonable priced. The purpose of the headlamp for me was to light a path outdoors at night when I am returning my horse back to his stable, about 100 yards and a uphill walk. The strength of the lamp is very weak at night, and noticed no difference if I had the light on or off. So if your buying this lamp for outdoors at night forgetaboutit. It seems to work ok indoors but that was not my intended purpose. Look elsewhere if you looking for an headlamp to light up a walk path at night. Boo boo waste of money!
