This is a really great product. I have the TLR-4 mounted on a glock 19 and the fit is great. The light sticks out around 1/2 inch past the muzzle of the gun. The light is white and very bright, perhaps blindingly so. The laser is also good and bright. It's a really good buy and a great value.

My wife bought me this TLR-4 laser/light for our anniversary and I am impressed with it. I went back and forth on this one or the TLR-2 because I was concerned with the performance of this one, but let me tell you this is a very bright light/laser. The light on it is plenty bright for home defense and concealed carry. This light will work great in most homes because most distances inside will be under 25 feet and within that range it has an intense hotspot. The laser is bright and very distinct in the center of that hotspot to. The unit feels well built and secure on the weapon also. I have mine mounted on a Glock 23 Gen4 and like the way it fits, it does'nt add much weight to the muzzle either I can barely notice a difference with it on or off the gun. Like one guy said before on here the laser adjustment screws are a little stiff at first but with gentle but firm pressure they will adjust. The only bad thing about these or any weapon mounted light your gun will probably not fit your current holster.

Bottom line if your on the fence between the TLR-4 and some other combo, for the money this one will be hard to beat.

Bottom line: it's bright, it's compact, it mounts easily, and it just works!

Living up to the Streamlight reputation, this is a reliable and compact light that is perfectly designed for its mission. I was attracted to this light primarily due to the small size and brightness. Compared to Insight Tech-Gear's X2 Insight X2 Standard Md: MTV-000-A1, this light is twice as bright. When you put the two side by side, the difference is blindingly clear.

This light mounts easily on Springfield XDm, XD Tactical, and XD Subcompact guns. It also has several "keys" so you can perfectly match the light to your Glock or railed 1911. The light features an ambidextrous momentary and steady on-off switch that is intuitive and no-non sense. You don't need any tools to mount and dismount the light from the gun.

If you are looking for a compact and bright weapon-mounted light that takes one CR2 battery, this is it.

Light: bright, reliable
Fit: Very good fit on my sig p229
Laser: bright and stable

most of the complaints about this unit are about the laser. here's a novel idea that I strongly suggest: DON"T ADJUST THE LASER. Chances are it's pretty well lined up with your iron sights out of the box; the only thing is that the dot will not line up with your sights. that's because it's about 1/2" lower down. there's NO WAY it will line up with yoru sights except at a very specific distance.

TWO PARALLEL LINES WILL NEVER INTERSECT.

Just leave it the way it is and remember that your dot will always be about 2" low. that's absolutely fine. I would MUCH rather have a dot that's reliably 2" low than a dot that is sometimes too high, sometimes too low, and if you are at exactly 20 yards lined up with my sights then MAYBE it'll be on target....

First off, I read probably too many reviews on many Tac lights, so any purchase would make me feel reluctant because apparently all lights have downsides. That being said, this light is great especially if you're a Glock owner or the owner of a full size gun. I wanted my light to be bright, turn on easily, match the finish of my gun, be compact in size, low on price (compared to $250 model we have all looked at), and still be good quality. Tall order, but this light has pulled it off.

To start, amazon gets it to my house fast, as expected. I opened the packaging. I read the instructions. Noticed the sticker on the light that read "Do not over tighten. Use a coin to tighten." I knew this after all the reviews that said the light broke right away. A few people said they followed instructions and it still broke. I don't believe them. I think they over tightened. It took me 1-2 minutes to get the right key picked out. Put the key in, put it back together, put it on the rail, and tightened it down. I tightened only with my fingers until it was snug. If you look at the design of the Glock Tac light, you will notice that it doesn't even have a screw to attach. It just has a spring loaded bar that drops into the rail groove. So, it doesn't need to be torqued down, just somewhat snug. I left mine loose enough that you can barely slide the light down the rail maybe .015" easily. Doesn't rattle or vibrate or fall off when fired. No coin was used, let alone screwdriver. Fits great, works great, and so far seems durable.

As a light, this is a really great item. It is extremely compact and bright for its size. The interface and price are also great. There is, however, a critical flaw in its design that I hope they will address with new versions of this light. I, like many others, am sitting here with the polymer side of the housing broken. Before you think of commenting about user error and look at the directions, I will tell you that it definitely was not user error. In my case, the light was installed 100% properly. When removing my handgun from the safe, I accidentally bumped the light on the safe on the way out. Snapped right off. So.... yes, technically it was my fault for hitting the light on something hard... but this is supposed to be a WEAPON LIGHT, which (to me at least) means it should be able to hold up to at least the slightest bit of abuse. At this price point, size and simplicity, I see the light being used by many on a home defense gun. In that type of situation, the last thing I would be thinking about is being careful not to bump my light on something... and that would be exactly when I would actually need it. Sorry for being long winded. I think the main point I am getting at is I would NOT in any situation rely on this light to help defend myself or loved ones. I do hope they make both clip sides metal and this light will go from 1 star to 5 stars.
