I bought the charger-holder after first purchasing the AC Charge Cord in a separate transaction. Once I had received the cord, I found that I also need the charger-holder in order to charge my streamlight flashlight that I had found in the trunk of a car that I recently bought. So I ordered the charger-holder in a second transaction. Once it arrived, I easily connected it to the charger cord, inserted the flashlight, and everything worked great. It is now mounted on the wall in my garage where it holds the flashlight when not in use. I'm a little concerned about over-charging the battery over the long-run - since the red light which indicates "charging", is always on - even after several days. The documentation claims that the flashlight can't be overcharged, so that gives me some comfort.
Important safety tip: Make sure to get both the charger-holder AND the charger cord - either one by itself won't work.

I received the Steamlight flash light as a fathers day gift, and found that it was perfect for use when traveling. I purchased a 12 volt adaptor so I can keep it charged any where I go. The base holds the flash light securely so there is no worry if it has made contact and is charging, it also is very well constructed.

I'm getting a second set-up for my work truck that can mounted in the cab.

Would have been nice if they had told me that it did not come with the power cord. Once I got the right power cord, works great! Easily mounts to just about anything and long lasting. Sometimes it is a little finicky getting the light into the charger, but be smarter than equipment and slide it in end first. Makes it easier. :-)

I have used this charger for a few months and have had no problems with it. Good charger and does the job.

Why in God's name would I buy a replacement charger with no cord. I wrote the company and they want me to buy a cord and I'll have to pay shipping again. I assumed the cord came with it, wouldn't ya think! Okay they were right. It did say no cord, I didn't see that. still disappointed and won't do transactions with them again. I will give them this though. It was here fast, even with the standard shipping, not free though and they did everything they could to convinve me I was wrong, and I was so there!

If you going to buy this product, don't throw away your old charger because this charger does not have a wire to charge. I never knew that if you buy a charger then you have to used your old wire. The seller needs to state that on his or her products profile .

I'm a retired law enforcement officer and I wish we had these back in the day. I wish we had tasers too but that's how it goes. I think this would have incapacitated (the pulse feature not the light handle!) just enough to be able to subdue violent or potentially violent individuals.

The light itself is powerful and easy to use.

I would have given this 5 stars had it come with the charger like the streamlights I used to use did but it didn't so one star had to go.
