5.0 out of 5 stars Softest sheets ever!
These sheets are buttery soft and continue to get softer with each washing. I was worried that they would be stiff like people complained of for the 800 count, but the egyptian cotton must make all the difference.

I have a 14 inch mattress and they fit with extra room for a higher bed.
My only issue, which I'm sure is common on high thread count...

3.0 out of 5 stars pretty good
These sheets aren't as thick and heavy feeling as other high thread-count sheet's I've purchased. They are smooth and satiny in texture and do feel quite nice, just not that luxurious. They're a great price though and will hopefully last a lot longer than lower thread-count sheets. They'll be really nice during the Summer because they are light and satiny.

My only issue, which I'm sure is common on high thread count sheets, is that they wrinkle up a lot. I ironed the pillow cases since they will be the only thing visible, but will probably just steam them in the future. The wrinkles do not affect the feel of the sheets and are something I can live with.

They are soft and think. They are sure to last for a long time probably longer than I would even imagine. Easy to wash and keep clean. It's nice that they are fitted for 20 inch matresses as this is hard to find and with such good quality and pricing!

I like these sheets. They are comfortable and soft. They do wrinkle some but that does not matter to me.
I would buy them again because of the price and the quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally sheets deep enough for my mattress, January 13, 2010

These sheets fit around my pillow top mattress easily. We have purchased other 1000tc sheet sets before and paid more, too. Nothing has ever stayed in place like these. I am seriously contemplating purchasing a back up set. They are heavier than our other 1000tc sheets have been, but my husband is extremely picky about sheets (everything is too stiff or itchy) but he has had nothing but good things to say about these sheets. The pillow cases are huge (we bought the king set), so there is plenty of room if you have VERY large pillows. I wish the extra pillow cases had been a little more reasonably priced (we had to buy 2 extra sets for $30 each... they cost as much as the sheets).

4.0 out of 5 stars You must wash them first!, November 2, 2009

As the title of the review states, you must wash these sheets first before they feel like a 1000 count sheet should feel like. The sheets are very good quality, especially considering the price you pay for them. They were stiff right out of the package, but don't let that fool you. After a run through the washing machine and dryer with my wife's favorite fabric softener they softened up dramatically. So if you get them and they feel rough, don't worry...after a few runs through the wash they'll feel better and better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the Sheets, October 12, 2009

I normally pay more for my sheets and buy them locally. When I saw these 1000 tc sheets for the incredible price, I was doubtful that I would like them. When I received them, I was pleasantly surprised at how thick and soft they felt. Although we've only washed them a couple of times, we are pleased with their smoothness. We'll just have to see how long they last and keep their smoothness.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good, August 28, 2009
This review is from: Pike Street 1000-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton Queen Sheet Set, Ivory (Kitchen)
It is not soft at all, can't believe it is 1000 counts. My 300 counts are better than this. I don't think it is Egyptian cotton, not even close.
