After washing them a couple of times the best I can describe them is: Hospital Sheets.

They're not uncomfortable, they're not wonderfully soft. They are however, pretty cheap*. And appear to be well made. No fraying or runs in the fabric. They're heavy, solid feeling. I'd buy them for kids beds, teens heading off to college...But I might not buy them again if I was looking for a set of "good" sheets.

*When I bought them on sale. I would not ever pay eighty bucks for these sheets!

I love these sheets. Very good quality and they feel great. Some people say that they are stiff, but they are not stiff, just thick because of the thread count. GREAT deal at $29.99.

Pike Street 510-Thread Count 100% Cotton Sateen Queen Sheet Set, White was the first thing I'd ever bought out of the Amazon "Today's Deals" gold box- I figured $29.99 for a whole set of 510 thread count, how could I go wrong?!

My only regret is that I didn't buy MORE.

Getting into these sheets is amazing! They are thick, crisp yet silky soft, and feel every bit as goood to wake up in. Warm on cool nights, cool on warm nights, perfect year round.

Though I'm hardly a person of great wealth, these sheets make me feel like an obscenely rich person. I will buy another set, to put on the bed when the original set is in the washer- even at today's price of $44.99 they are a screaming deal.
