5.0 out of 5 stars combiners in disguise, August 27, 2002
By A Customer
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Street Action Team Action Figure Multi-Pack (Toy)
This Mini-con 3-pack is really cool. It comes with High Wire, a BMX Bike, Grindor, a motorized skateboard, and Sureshock, a bright orange scooter. The three are really easy to transform, but, because of the simplicity, the educational value is low. However, in addition to being able to connect with larger Armada figures, they can combine with one another to form a five inch- high robot called Perceptor. He also is really easy to assemble. Of all the Mini-cons, I would highly recommend these three.

5.0 out of 5 stars Minicons...Gotta Catch Them All, September 22, 2002
By A Customer
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Street Action Team Action Figure Multi-Pack (Toy)
My first impressions of these toys were why would they make a skateboard, bike and a scooter a Transformer?!?! I'm sure the Decepticons are trembling with the idea of facing them.
Individually they do not look very good at all, unless you like skateboards, bikes & scooters. But together they form the MIGHTY Perceptor. If the Decepticons weren't scared before they must be petrified now.
But these guys are fun to play with and you will be impressed with their durability, their transformations. From robot to i guess vehilces to a combiner. They aren't the baddest guys on the block but toys are meant to be played with, not stored on shelves and these guys are impressive for transformers their size. The only knock I have besides them being a bike, scooter & skateboard is that when they combine to form Perceptor, the color scheme does not mesh very well. He's blue and black with orange legs.
Overall these 3 guys get an A...just wish they had different vehicle form.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mini-Cons ---------- Mini-RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!, August 23, 2002
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Street Action Team Action Figure Multi-Pack (Toy)
The 1st I saw these Mini-Cons --- I WAS IN SHOCK! They're so miniscule! I was expecting them to be a lot bigger. Their size impressed me like never before. I'm sure that when you first see them, you too will be shocked.

Anyways, I purchased 3 of these. One for me to keep MIB, another for me to keep OOB (Out of the Box), and one for my dear friend since he loves skateboarding.

Although Grindor, High Wire, and Sureshock have poor poseability they make up for that by merging together to create --- Perceptor. I especially like Grindor because of the name and also cos' I love skateboarding. Taking out a robot that transforms into a skateboard is no surprise for me since I had an idea like that for my Transformers stories. But I'm glad Hasbro came up with Grindor. I enjoy making my GIJoe figures ride on his vehicle mode.

Perceptor is a very impressive robot but there's just one problem wth this trio. They have no weapons so how're they supposed to fight?

5.0 out of 5 stars Darn those Armada kids!, September 27, 2002

Well, I've heard a lot of folks gripe about the kids on the Armada show...and I agree. The only thing they were god for was activating the Mini-Cons. The Mini-Cons that they personally activated are chums with them though. That aside, the toy versions of the Mini-Cons are a lot of fun. The Combined Perceptor is neat-o, my only problem is the bike one. Both modes of it are just plain ugly, that's why i keep it in the combined mode.

for once its better than expected. three minicons. two fuse to transformers figures (sold seperatly) while the bike can't. BUT when they fuse (and they don't fall apart when fusing) they become an awsome figure. this toy is the cream of the crop (what ever that means). I'm not a teacher so I don't know how educational a toy should be but campared to others any transformer is near a five at least if not one (not 1 star though).

I have all the transformers that were ever made and this one is my favtie so far, sceond to prime. all three of the street team combine togeter to form a larger robot. they can also be attached to a larger transformer, high wire the bike is alitte hard to attach to because he hooks on the side. but they are still fun to play with.

4.0 out of 5 stars The world's smallest combiner!, October 14, 2009
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Street Action Team Action Figure Multi-Pack (Toy)
This has to be one of the most interesting transformers sets out there. In the package you get a Bike, skateboard and scooter named High wire, Grindor and Sureshock respectively. They each have a separate robot mode and then they combine too form a slightly larger robot named Perceptor. This coupled with their size makes them the smallest Transformer combiner ever! Also, they are the only true combiner of the Armada series save maybe Optimus in his Jet Convoy mode. Megatron and Tidalwave are not a combiner they powerlink. There is a subtle difference and it boils down to the fact that when combined the bots in question have a new personality and identity. The three minicons here become Perceptor who is a unique individual and therefore are officially combiners. So if combining bots are your thing then give armada perceptor or the "street action" minicon team a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Optimus Prime Rules!!!, November 13, 2002

Optimus Prime rules the the transformer worls. His his trailer can transform automatically. It transforms into a base station when you transform his right arm on the truck. The trailer transforms into the legs when you transform him into the torso. Also if you have an RCA tv he might turn it off because of the infrared that makes the trailer transform
