5.0 out of 5 stars The will the punk rock, April 1, 2000
By
This cd would be one of the best punk cds i own, and by the god do i own a lot. Whilst not doing anything really different, they some how manage to sound fresh, which is what punk needs in these days of 3 chord Blink 182's. Some compare them to Rancid and thats fair enough but personally i think they beat Rancid at their own game, a big call yes but listen and you will know. Favourite tracks are Microphone, The will the message, and Where we gather. In a world of hip hop metal its good to here some real music thats close to the heart. Punk rock will never die if bands like this keep coming up. Rock On!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bombshell ROX!!! (I mad a pun), January 15, 2004

I like Rancid and Bombshell Rocks and I say this is punk music at some of it's finest. Back to the old school spirit of the scene. That's the feeling I get when I listen to this, I feel like it's the good ol days before Greenday. It's great stuff and it's good for reliving some old memories. Punk fans this is a must.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than 77, March 7, 2002
This review is from: Street Art Gallery (Audio CD)
This is one of the greatest musical accomplishments ever. The entire album is more 77 than 77. The trax have fast verses, sing along choruses, and intelligent lyrics. This is what The Clash would have sounded like had they been in their prime today. The comparisons of Bombshell Rocks to Rancid derive from the fact that both bands have extremely well written songs, with sublime lyrics that aren't poetic, yet aren't standard thoughts.

The songs average about three minutes/track which is long for punk songs, yet are the perfect length because they are so well written.

Bright Spot is one of the best trax ever, and other standouts include Seven, The Will The Message, Same Streets, Where We Gather, Microphone... the whole disc is unstoppable, and full of instant adrenaline.

Street Art Gallery is far too good to ever receive critical acclaim. There will probably be few albums written that will ever top this one so you might as well get it now and get on with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great punk rock, June 27, 2000
This review is from: Street Art Gallery (Audio CD)
I agree with the other reviewers that Bombshell Rocks does have a little of the style that Rancid use to have but they dont have the same beats that Rancid uses, mostly I think the comparison would come from the lyrics and the lead singers voice. I picked up this album after hearing their song on Punk-O-Rama 4 and it has been spinning in my CD player since then. All the songs rip and if your a fan of bands like Rancid, H2O, 59 Times the Pain, I Against I, etc. then you should check Bombshell Rocks out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good CD, November 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Street Art Gallery (Audio CD)
My only problem with this record, which is a problem with all punk rock, is its lenghth. 12 songs and barely a half hour long. Other than that it sounds a lot like Rancid (Lets Go Days). If you like punk rock or Rancid than buy this CD.
