I've worked with these youth, including Justin, for 40 plus years. It is accurate and well written. And a powerful story.

If you find this book interesting, you might also want to watch the Academy Award nominated documentary called STREETWISE (Justin Early) is in it.

I highly recommend this book-Mr Early is an excellent, evocative writer. I've seen the Streetwise documentary and am familiar with Seattle. The doc is good, but seemed staged. I was around Seattle in the 80's and the language of Streetchild is authentic to my ears.

This is truly a life changing book. There are so many lessons to learn from this book. I finished this book some time ago and I still can not stop thinking about Justin's story. I literally could not put it down when I was reading it. What an amazing story and what an amazing person. You will not be disappointed.

This book was eye-opening. I never knew the extent that people went through just to survive. My heart goes out to everybody going through this ordeal. This book was well-written, and I applaud the author. No wonder your mother is so proud of you. I am too and I don't even know you!

Very emotional and sometimes hard to read because of having trouble seeing through the tears. I very highly recommend this book.
