Street Feeling, February 9, 2008
I am always amazed that even after 20+ years of listening to The Selecter, a new live recording or some other oddity will be published that makes me entranced again and want to listen to nothing else. Three Minute Hero, James Bond 007, and The Selecter on Street Feeling are the very best versions of these songs I have ever heard. The sound of the band live not only entertains, but allowed me to reconnect with the memories of seeing these bands in the 1980s. Sometimes it is not much fun getting old, and while purchasing The Selecter's Street Feeling won't shrink your prostate, it will make you feel better than you did before you owned it.
