This is where Capcom hit the pinnacle of fighting games. Street fighter Alpha 3 is okay and has a few more character, but Alpha 2 is when everything was executed just right. with the saturn controller the gameplay was just great. with the saturn being the superior 2d machine, this version easily crushed the playstation version. you won't be disappointed with this game.again if you are looking for a game to add to your saturn collection this is one that should be on any saturn owner's collection.

There are only two other games on my mind that match the perfection of 2D fighting as streetfighter alpha 2 did. marvel vs capcom, streetfighter 3rd strike. The graphics on this game are still beautifule compared to todays consoles such as ps2/xbox/gamecube/dreamcast/xbox360/ps3/wii. sprites are wonderful and gameplay is astonishing. 10/10 i give it on the saturn no othe console.

One of the top Sega Saturn games for the system. One that should be in the collection, especially if you are a Street Fighter series fan. The only thing is, if you are very good at the game, then it is short. Best to play with two players.

Street Fighter Alpha 2 is a game that is just perfect for the Ascii arcade stick it does continue from Street Fighter Alpha with Ryu's quest to be the best he does have a run in with Akuma. Ken wants to fight him Sagat still obsessed with defeating Ryu wants to battle him. Charli & Chun Li are still trying to apprehend M Bison since he eluded capture last time he wants Ryu for his bio weapon. Overall great game awesome controlls great music againshort loading times again almost arcade perfect if you have a Saturn & don't have Street Fighter Alpha 2 get it it's the best console port if you don't have a Saturn don't buy 1 just for the Alpha series don't hesitate to get a Saturn just don't get it for Street Fighter Alpha 1-2.

Of course Ryu and Ken are the main characters. The Street Fighter series is created by the Japanese and is 2nd marketed towards the American video gamers. The World Warrior theme of course did give this game International Appeal.

Nobody understands Rolento however? Where is he actually from? I think he's Filipino... why? Because he has a Spanish Name,he uses a stick and throws daggers, he fights unconventionally using grenades and wires to hang people. Basically he uses the same techniques Filipino Soldiers used in WWII to fight the Japanese.

Rolento is also an Evil Man. Why does he have to be Evil? hmmm....
