Product Description

Street Fighter Revolutions round one will consist of R Mika, E. Honda, Zangief, and Dhalsim. Fans have been asking for these figures since Street Fighter round one and SOTA is finally delivering! These figures are a little more Anime style, but still have same level of detail and articulation you expect from SOTA Toys!

3.0 out of 5 stars Just not as good as the original SOTA, January 16, 2010

This review is from: Street Fighter Revolutions Series 1: E.Honda (Toy)
Just want to mention that the Street Fighter Revolutions series (R.Mika, Zangief,Dhalsim, E.Honda) are made after SOTA's original owner Jerry sold the company. Infact a lot of the original SOTA staff left afterward which I guess is why the new Revolutions series (and Previews series) don't stand up as good as the previous Round1-4 figures.
E. Honda figure is a nice sculpt with a weird 6 pack muscular abs. It's a really weird look for a sumo wrestler and I consider this as a sculpting mistake but it's also how E.Honda is rendered in SFIV so I guess it's ok.
The problem with the figure is that the torso joint doesn't hold very well and the torso ball joint keep on popping off.
Other than that the paint job for this figure varies between figures but in general the paint's decent but I do wish they used a better, warmer flesh tone. Just watch out for the face paint.
Articulation wise the Revolutions series works a bit different than the preview Round 1-4 of old SOTA. That doesn't mean they aren't good but the hands and foot joints are more obvious and blends poorly with the sculpt. I like how the new ankle joints work.

Overall not a bad figure but there's quite a few room for improvement.
