I would like to say that this animated movie would only be recomended to people who are fan of SF.The plot of this movie is kind of slow and the animation looks a little old but everything else is great. As a big fan of Street Fighter I was paying to much attention to the development of all the characters in the story and not too much attention to the plot. The action...

I would like to say that this animated movie would only be recomended to people who are fan of SF.The plot of this movie is kind of slow and the animation looks a little old but everything else is great. As a big fan of Street Fighter I was paying to much attention to the development of all the characters in the story and not too much attention to the plot. The action scenes are great and bloody. To much blood makes me sick. The fight between ken and Vega(Balrog)was too long and too bloody.I really don't know how ken could survive after losing all that blood.Anyways,I don't want to give details about the fight but it was good. The appearence of cammy in the story gave it a lot more sense and beauty. That girl really know how to steal the attention of everyone. This movie diserve a 4 or a 3 if it wasn't for the action scenes and for Cammy :) but as these two things were included in the movie it diserves a 5 for sure.Buy it,it is really cool!Another thing, don't spet to see the orginal opening and closing theme from the serie.I don't know why did they had to change the music,I was sad when I watched it and didn't heard that fantastic music :(

4.0 out of 5 stars No sign of slipping here, September 11, 2005
This review is from: Street Fighter II V, Vol. 3 (DVD)
Still the SF II V story becomes more complex and involving. Despite being 7 episodes long, the bulk of the story on this DVD takes place in one night as Ryu, Ken and Chun Li encounter Vega and Bison in a Spanish castle during a really shady dinner party and the murky plot thickens even more.

The fight scenes are still hard-hitting and every 'set-piece' totally gripping. With so much going on there is never a dull moment in either of these episodes. Cammy is also introduced halfway through.

The DVD is in 1.33:1 full frame, as drawn, with Dolby Stereo sound. Chapter stops are non-existant, or just limited to episode beginnings. Extras are just fluff trailers. Anyone who has the first 2 DVDs will have this one already so I guess there's no point in telling you to go out and get it right away.

4.0 out of 5 stars Volume 3, the best?, August 8, 2001

This review is from: Street Fighter II V, Vol. 3 (DVD)
I have seen all four volumes of Street Fighter II V, and have to SF2 Volume 3 is probably the best. For one, The fight scene between Ken and Vega is the best because it is the most violent fight and both characters are evenly matched in my opinion. In addition, Vega's character is fully developed, he is an excellent villian by being psycho. Also, Cammy makes her first cameo appearance.

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't expect the movie Quality..., June 2, 2001

I bought this DVD and while I am a fan of Street Fighter (Grew up on it and my dad owns an amusement company so I got to play the real thing =P)I hated the Series. This volume was the only one I picked up since they had it and vol 4 at circuit city and I'd never seen the SF Series so I decided to check it out. Here goes what to watch out for if You're considering buying it.What I expected was a quality around the area of the SWEET SF 2 Animated Movie (Buy it),this was not.The animation is odd looking in parts,I don't like the Voice acting (That's what Japanese Subbed is for) and this DVD Is hella fuzzy in picture quality.I was surprised to see the other good reviews but I guess It's a pretty good DVD If You've seen the series. But whatever you do,DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING NEAR THE MOVIE QUALITY,and try and rent before you buy on this one if you're a newbie to the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must see anime!, April 12, 2001
This review is from: Street Fighter II V, Vol. 3 (DVD)
This volume of the extraordinary animated serie is the best. Here is when Cammy makes her first appearence in the serie in "Beautiful assasin" and the fight between Ken and Vega(Balrog in Japan). This volume is a must see even if you haven't yet seen the other three volumes. You won't be disapointed by this one. This volumen also has those awsome action scenes that SF is known for, beautiful and strong women and an extraordinary plot.If you really are an SF fan you won't want to miss this one now do you?Buy it and see for yorself what I'm really talking about.
