I don't listen to rap/hip-hop. I like this album because it's not mean, it's fun.
Jessy is enjoying herself, having fun and that adds to my enjoyment as well.
Her songs are about her experiences or seem to be. Her lyrics are interesting.
When she gets off the rap riff she shows herself to be excellent mainstream singer.
My only gripe is that the music is uneven, of average quality,not well sound engineered.
I bought her other later albums and I hate to say the music continues to be uneven and Jessy seems to be searching for a style.
That said I enjoy them all.

I first saw this artist perform local here in the ATL i was quite taken back by her voice, and that energy of a performance. I approached her afterwards, etc..she gave me a copy of the single to this CD. Well some years later found that single, decided to play it and decided to buy the full version. Wow, i didn't know she's been around a bit. i've bought 2 more CD's since then. Not sure why this young lady isn't the next Furgie?! bu the way i am AFrican-American and as i educate all, there are only 2 types of music: the good and the bad...Ms. Moss is definitely bad....and that is good, very good!! (smile!)
