5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!! A Real Jazz Sleeper, November 19, 2007

This album is a jazz & Latin jazz gem which I highly recommend. The piano playing is first rate & beautiful as is the musicianship, compositions & mastering. This album has plenty of Latin percussion. This album has been in constant rotation since I received it & have had good feedback from everyone to whom I have introduced this album to.

5.0 out of 5 stars among the best small group jazz recordings this century, June 9, 2009

It is so hard to pick my favorite Larry Vuckovich album, but this is the one I listen to the most. The trio is so tight and swings so hard you can't help smiling. Then again, you might end up crying at the beauty and sensitivity Larry displays in the romantic ballads. The addition of Hector Lugo and Vince Delgado on percussion is a real treat (nobody plays Egyptian tabla like Vince). Akira Tana on the drums conveys his usual jubilant enthusiasm and is obviously having a blast with bassist Larry Grenadier. Highly recommended for lovers of straight ahead jazz.
