About Street Surfing:
The Original Wave Board by Street Surfing was the first of its kind--a board on casters with a torsion bar connecting the front and back. The torsion design of the board allows the rider to move forward by rotating the body in fluid movements and swiveling the board. The wave board offers riders a feeling that is somewhere between skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing. Street Surfing has taken this initial concept further, producing line of boards to match with people of every size and riding style.

Great board, great quality, great fun!
Melissa
I'm probably going to try to get a refund on this and get a Ripstick instead, even though it doesn't have as much tricking potential.
Mike
It's fun to ride, although it takes a while to learn.

The first day I got this product, I rolled around and all of a sudden one of the wheel stalk, came of the socket. I contacted the manufacture for a warranty, but it takes forever for them to answer my email. And now, this product is still sitting broken at my house. I would recommend whiptide rather than street surfing. Go check out whiptide guys.

I recently bought the wave 360 board and after very limited use the wheel fell off and i had to search for the nuts and the washer luckily for me i found them. Yesterday one of the neighbourhood kids went to use it and the casters fell off the board. In my opinion its a bit dangerous if you're riding along and a wheel just "happens" to fall off.

I have a waveboard LX and had no problems whatsoever so it's disappointing to have such fundamental issues with only barely a month of light use.

When it is working it's alright, it's harder to get on and i find the carving experience less enjoyable since if you lean too much it topples over. As for the 360's although they are easier to perform its not dramatically so for me to recommend it.

I suggest that the technical team at street surfing take this crappy item off the market and produce a quality product, one where the wheels actually stay attached to the board.

I just got this for my 13 year old son. He's had a casterboard for a while now but we had never seen this before. He loves it!

The deck is flat with raised dots that helps him stay on. The big thing that's different is the casters. We've never seen casters like this - they go forwards AND backwards and it spins!

It was a bit challenging at first as he tried to find his balance on it. It took him a lot of practice to teach himself another way to ride. But now he's better and is trying to learn how to spin. He can do a half spin, but is trying to complete a full 360. The board is really great and he's having a blast! He's the first one in the nieghborhood to have one and his friends ask him all the time to ride. We love it!

Just got this board a few days ago, and it was relatively quick to learn to ride. It's cool that you can do 360s and stuff on it, but it is far too slow for what I use it for (getting to class on time lol). That, and the "self-locking screws" that hold the casters in keep coming loose and the casters fall out of the board when you pick it up. Back to speed again: I can barely get enough speed to get up the small hills on the sidewalks (humps really) on my college campus; riding my friend's Ripstick, I can blaze through them like nothing. I'm probably going to try to get a refund on this and get a Ripstick instead, even though it doesn't have as much tricking potential.

I'm not in the target demographic for this board but I purchased it because I was intrigued on how it's possible to ride something that appears to be so inherently unstable (2 pivoting wheels). Turns out that the board is actually pretty stable and you can balance on it even close to a stand-still. I can shimmy up and down the concrete street with some effort now but have not been able to gain much speed, at times slowing down so much that I have to stop and restart. I wish it would have come with some instructional video as I believe they did previously. Our street has a lot of cracks and these have a big effect on the board due to its design. I think it would be best suited for smooth asphalt surfaces that are on an incline so you can actually experience a real "carving" effect similar to that on a snowboard.

The board itself appears to be quite sturdy and I haven't noticed any manufacturing flaws. One thing to keep in mind is that the black plastic does rub off and it will mark up your floor. I know this because I tried to ride the board in the basement.

Overall I give it a thumbs up IF you have an appropriate place to ride it.

This Waveboard is the first time my son has been out on one of these things since they were popular a few years ago. He keeps spinning 360s over and over again. Now all the kids on our street are begging for one for xmas. So fun!!!

My twin boys who are proficient Waveboarders received Wave 360's for their ninth birthday and couldn't be happier. This is their second waveboard and they say this one is even more fun because they can do more tricks. They love that it offered them a little extra challenge and now they can spin. It only took them a day to be able to spin 180 and now they are trying to spin 360. It is so great to see them begging to play outside instead of asking to play a video game. Great board, great quality, great fun!

I purchased two of the new wave 360's for my daughters and they are having a blast! they had the original wave boards and they liked them. the Wave 360 is so much more, they both learned to do 360 spins within an hour of opening the boxes. The biggest problem now is that their friends always want to ride them! Great Product, fun to ride.
