My nine year old son received the Whiplash Scooter for his birthday. This is his second scooter. He loves this one because he can do so much more with it. He rides it up and down the sidewalk without ever touching the ground and he does these really cool turns he couldn't do on his other scooter. It is really well made too.

We gave this to our son for his 7th birthday. He absolutely loves it. It was simple to assemble right out of the box. He can't get enough of it and his friends are jealous!! It was a great find.

OMG!!! Imagine my surprise when I went in to write my "disappointed" review of this product and I see not one but NINE other reviews stating exactly the same thing that I want to write about! As the other reviewers, my husband and I first opened this product late Christmas Eve in anticipation that it would be a quick assembly. We had no bolts, no instructions, no DVD and ours, too, looked as if it had been ridden before. The box looked to have been opened from the bottom and taped back. Needless to say, we were extremely ticked off. I order frequently from Amazon.com and always have great experiences, so I was pretty disappointed...so much more since it was Christmas Eve and no stores were open! Luckily my husband was able to figure something out using R/C nuts and bolts.

Since my husband was able to rig something together, my son was not disappointed Christmas morning. The scooter itself is great and my son loves it! Yet, I am still aggravated and will now think twice before ordering from Amazon.com.

Riding the whiplash is the most fun I have ever had on a scooter. Once you get the hang of it you can make your scooter carve down the streets like you were riding a wave in the ocean. I have never before tried something so new and innovative. This is great for anybody who loves to try new and cool things. The whiplash is the most fun I have ever had on two wheels!!!

My son got this scooter from Santa. We tried to assemble it and thought it was ok. He rode it in the house and the base snapped off. The metal just broke. I now have to work with "Santa" to work out getting another scooter. It was very disappointing.

I ordered this and the razor seige for my 2 sons (age 8 & 9) my 8 year old that received the Razor has been scooting- sadly, my 9 year old who received the Whiplash still has a scooter in 2 parts with no hardward to connect it. There is also no number included, customer service, etc. Amazon (who I did 90% of my christmas shopping with the year) you need to read these reviews yourself and STOP sending our products that are defective or incomplete...although it's the Whiplashs' problem per se...it does reflect poorly on you that you continue to offer this product thru your online shopping site after the numberous complaints that the product arrives with the missing hardware.

My son really wanted one of these but when it got here, there were NO BOLTS to put it together. We will have to go out and fix this but when you get something for Christmas you expect all the pieces to be there.

Always fun to open on Christmas and have something not work or not have all the parts. Four bolts missing to put this thing together just like some other reviews. My six year old is just standing in the street watching his older brother ride his new electric scooter wishing he had something he could ride. Merry Christmas.

I am the mother of a child who we gave this scooter for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. We have had it for a month now, and there isn't a day
he's not on it. So far it seems very sturdy. Our son is 7 yrs old. He rides it like a pro with his helmet on. I think it is a fun gift.

We bought this as a birthday gift for our daughter. The item arrived as promised, and we left it in the box, etc., until she unwrapped it. Upon opening, we found the item marred from use, plus the book and the hardware were missing. We tried to find a replacement locally with no luck. Should have just done the Amazon return! The return was super slick! Easy to do, and the new item was sent next day air. As I said, should have just done that the first day!

Kudos to Amazon for GREAT customer service. Ughhhh to them for having not checked a return as being complete for reselling. But back to five stars for how QUICK and EASY they made the exchange!
