Even though I am not a paramedic/EMS, I found this book to touch my heart and soul like no other. In the true sense of the word, we are ALL caregivers, called to reach out to those in need in some way......"to do small things with great love". Thom has captured this basic call to humanity in a beautifully expressive way. All caregivers owe it to themselves to read this book. I also recommend the sequel to this book "People Care".
