5.0 out of 5 stars Lisa, April 7, 2006
This review is from: Street Talk (Audio CD)
People who say this album is bad because it only talks about girls and guns are ignorant.Because that's not all it's about theres plenty of tracks in here that mean more than that for example "Done in vien" by Milano is a very deep and well written track about life,"A look at my life" by Party arty is also another real track about his struggles in life but his ambition that got him where he is.The only down side of this album is "A whole lotta" track #1 which couldve been the best song on the CD is only 1 minute long, and the only other downside is Big L only appears on 2 songs but he still brings especially on "Back in my hood".Party arty is an upside to this album and throughout it he shines the most.If you consider yourself a fan of "Real Rap" then buy this album.

If you happen to come across it in stores BUY IT!!!!!.it's definetly worth it......peace.

3.0 out of 5 stars Shattered, October 8, 2005
This review is from: Street Talk (Audio CD)
Excited ,happy, eager, pumped, all words i would use to describe how i felt when i heard showbiz was doing a new mixtape.Shattered, disappointed, sad and let down was how i felt when i heard it. From production point of view this album is ok (not great like runaway slave) but average. Its the mcs that really let this album down.Every song about guns ice and b$@ches.I mean come on are we still listening to this crap.HELL NO (at least im not anyway!)I just dont want to hear this played out recycled hip hop any more.Show needs to go back to the lab with AG and just create another classic with hard beats and ill rhymes. As a DITC collector ill still probably buy this but i would reccommend u spend the hard earned $ on Pumpkinhead -Orange moon over brooklyn or Akrobatik balance and hear hip hop in its purest form.Peace.
