I bought this car for my 10 yo son for Christmas. He was really excited to get it out side to try it out. We were a little disappointed, because it took some time to get the gun to work. My son finally got it to work but you had to move things just right, but other than that this is a fun car.

My son spent hours looking for "the" best remote control car he wanted and this was "the" one. So I purchased it for his birthday. It was a flop! So disappointed - no steering involved - only forward and backward. Not to mention it doesn't work 3/4 of the time. I should have sent it back - but had already thrown away the box! So sad:((((

We gave this to our 8 year old son for Christmas. He loves that it transforms and shoots. We've been pleased with its durability and how quickly he learned to work it. His tip: do not point the remote's antenna directly at the car, but instead aim a little above it.

I bought 2 Maisto Street fighter attack vehicles for christmas. The Project 66 works flawlessly and is better made than expected. My teenage sons love it. The other one (which I paid twice the amount for) the PT-808 doesn't run well at all. It morphs and fires fine but it doesn't move well-the wheels work intermittently and the right wheel doesn't move at all in reverse. Maisto has a support contact and a return policy within 30 days of purchase so I will see how that goes.

This toy is great, my 9 year old son thinks it is awesome! The morphing is really pretty cool. I'd recommend you get rechargeable batteries, though, since it does not come with any and can run through them pretty quickly. The shooting is just an added bonus, and it does a pretty good job. Definitely recommend.

We purchase this car for our son (6) for Christmas. It was an instant hit. He has no trouble making it "transform" from pretty cool RC car to rocket firing tank like vehicle.

I was very surprised how well it was built and how heavy it was. It simply feels sturdy and well put together. My kids also received some other RC cars for Christmas, and there is no way to compare them, these are simply much better.

One note, it does take a lot of batteries, 2 AA for the remote and 4 or 6 for the car, so if you buy a couple of these, make sure you have the Costco sized package of batteries.

I would highly recommend this cool, fun and stylish car.

My nephew loved this thing right from unwrapping the box. It seems plenty durable and work great. I had gotten the 808 for another nephew so when it arrived and i saw the quality in the construction I wanted another but the price had doubled on it in just a few days. That's how I got this one. Now the price has nearly doubled on this one. I just happened to get these when they were on sale. Even the 13 year olds were jealous of these. I got these for 9 and 10 year olds. Very pleased with quality and value since I got these for under $20 each.
