Its fun to watch how far fetched and low budget this movie is. Its cheesy-ness will always remain a gem in my collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars A "Rock and a Hard Place"!!!, March 21, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Street Wars (DVD)
Folks use that cliche' meaning someone is basically caught up in a situation.
Sugarpop (Alan Joseph Wone) ends up in "the life" on the strength of his relatives involvement.
His 17 year old choices are wiser than his age, yet he is not as viscious as many would have been given the same circumstances.
Wone plays this role very natural, without a lot of the overacting I've seen in my time.
The movie has a different kind of twist, and I say CHECK IT OUT!!!!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Street Wars (DVD)
The crackhouse in the movie was the wildest I ever seen. The special effects were kinda old. But it will take you a ride in the street underworld. I like the chicano guy in the begining he was a natural.
