The New Yorker cover puzzles are always wonderful. It's a delight to see the picture come together, and the colors are vivid. The puzzle is well-made. However, the pieces are very small (not Ravensberger size), so this increases the challenge---especially the section of the puzzle that contains the magazine name! I'm not doing these puzzles; my 89 year old mother is, and this is her first 1000 piece! She has been working on this one since Thanksgiving, putting in several hours a day. Because there is so much detail in the picture, each tiny piece holds a useful clue, but there are hundreds of pieces to sort through: very engrossing, very mind-engaging.

New Yorker cover puzzles are outstanding. quite challenging for the average puzzler-lover, but still good for kids (with adult help)
