This is a MAJOR project to put together. I received it a couple weeks ago and haven't found help yet to assemble it. I saw it on The Doctors TV Show and cannot wait to try it out. It came with a DVD for help. Now that Christmas is done and everyone is preoccupied with their gifts, I'm going to give it a shot. I'll follow up this review! Wish me luck!
3/2012 - Now that I've had my street strider for a bit, I'm working on gearing for hills. I do wish I could take longer strides, like the x-trainers in the gym. I'm looking to purchase the product that lifts the back wheel off the ground so I can figure it out without being on the street. I live in a rural area, no shoulders on the road. I'm comfortable riding my 2-wheel bike on the back roads, not quite there with my strider, due to the room the front wheels needs (kind of wide). My balance has improved and so has my fear of falling off (you really can't). I live in the northwest so our weather has been horrible for biking. I take it out on sunny days. I can really feel my muscles after 30-45 minutes, or less. The handles have so many adjustments, one could probably find a good fit for their size. My only problem has been getting the rubber fittings around the bike's cables to fit into the holes where the cable goes into the bike. I don't want moisture or dirt getting in there. The company sent me touch-up paint for somethng that happened during shipping. I'll let you know when I can do it like the product's videos!
