A semi-decent collection of collectable flyers, January 24, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Streetart, the Punk Poster in San Francisco, 1977-1981 (Paperback)
Street Art is a worthy addition to the library of any artist or music fan. Documenting the San Francisco scene it offers a glimpse into the world of telephone pole art. Flyers that were meant to be up for a short period of time are now reproduced here for your enjoyment. Crime, the Nuns, Dead Kennedys and more of your favorite punk rock and new wave bands are featured here (well, at least their flyers are). Some flyer creators get a little too much space and others not enough, which is what prevents this book from being a ten. All in all, a worthy effort

I enjoyed it. It had many bands that were obscure and so forth. I think it's a total must! Eye candy for sure! Anyone who likes to study music history, or who is into punk need to get this.
