Todd-Michael St. Pierre captured the flavors of New Orleans in one great cook book. From Char-broiled oysters to Zulu Coconut pie it is all packed into one delicious cookbook. Throughout the book there are several poems that reflect what it is like to live in and to be from New Orleans.

If you've every visited the Crescent City and fell in love with the exquisite food, then you need to investigate this author's cookbooks and open up the wallet.
It is a trip back to New Orleans, with all the lush food and good humor of the folk in the area. T-M has captured the city well in his writing and recipes, and I must admit I am in the process of collecting all his cookbooks. The next best thing to being there is cooking the food so unique to the area. Bravo T-M!!! Encore!

I initially bought three of these for my daughter and two daughters-in-law. As soon as I browsed through it I knew I had to have one for myself and then got three more for friends as Christmas gifts; that makes seven and counting.
