fascinating and faith-building,

I enjoyed Bob's book and read it in a sitting. It is encouraging to know there are men and women in law-enforcement who have a heart like he does. It was stirring to think of the God going before us in difficult and dangerous situations and guiding us. I would recommend the book.

too short. I lived it, and loved the war stories, as we called them.,

I knew Bob then and still. He was a good cop, and a great Christian. I only wish I knew then, what I know now about God.

This is ONE COOL BOOK!
Full of life! Fun- but edgy, with a hint of intrigue and danger thrown in for good measure. This is one of those real to life stories that you don't want to miss. After reading through it speedily and with much enjoyment, I had to share it around to all my friends too. ;) These cop tales just pull you along, and that's for real.

I received a response, book review, from a fellow police officer who read the book. I would like to share it with this group: " Great Book, I read it at the coliseum while they were counting the cash. Thank God I was outside of the cash room as tears came to my ey...es on numerous occasions. You are a good man Bob Searle!. I became closer to God just from reliving your stories and realizing how lucky and blessed we both are to be alive and thankful. It touched my heart and soul. I have shared it with my Security Lead. He is a Christian and a Pastor. I told him he was going to see a tough cop doing the work of God in a time that people thought anyone who openly worshiped the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was a nutcase. Then I told him to imagine a uniformed cop, a very successful and revered cop, who did it every second of every shift, he just smiled and said I think I have to read this book. When I walked by the desk I saw him with your book in his hand and tears in his eyes . When I passed by again he told me it was a great book and he was almost half way through it. He was so happy he could not wait to finish and share the stories with members of his church. Thank you again and may God truly bless you and your entire family. May he grant you a lifetime of health and happiness may He also protect you from yourself, especially when you are armed with a chain saw."

More a Religious Book,

I wish the description of this book indicated that interspersed with the police stories, is a significant amount of preaching. As someone not interested in religion, I found it difficult to wade through the screeds on his faith. If you're a relatively devout Christian, you may enjoy this book, however if your primary interest is in police work and don't enjoy sermons, I'd give it a pass.
