the boys from boulder are back at it with their 3rd release and it is worth your money. it is different (more polished) than previous releases. the album is more pop than catchy raps over electronic/dance beats thtat being said it is still a great album.
my top 5 songs are: 1) i can do anything 2) my first kiss w/ ke$ha 3) deja vu 4) touchin on my 5) i know how to say

3oh!3's breakout cd!,
This review is from: Streets Of Gold [Explicit] (MP3 Download)
Honestly, I'm an old 70's rocker with a ear for great music - this cd to me is 3oh!3's "Ill Communication" - it's their break out CD. The question is ... where do they go from here?
I first heard this album via my 15 yr old son, it's been in heavy rotation since! It fit's really well along side of the previously mentioned Beastie Boys CD. The production is polished and this album is somewhat radio friendly .. true! I've heard some of their earlier stuff, maybe I need to spend more time with it, but I wasn't that impressed. This album however contains great lyrics (excellent writing, surprising rhymes) - "we can do an album or we can do it viral, spread it like an std you got back in high school" - I mean come on ...now that's how you start an album! "I wake up in the morning with the taste of your tongue" it doesn't even rhyme ... What pops into your mind? ... that's great writing! Cheers

One of the few bands that I will actually buy a CD from... there first CD was better. Still there are 3 or 4 sounds I like such as Touchin on My and First Kiss.

As a music fanatic, this album is definitely up there for quality. It has good lyrics, follows the pop culture trends, and is overall a good album.
Some of my personal favorites from the album are: My First Kiss, Déjà Vu, R.I.P., and I Can Do Anything. All of these songs have a good rhythm and are catchy.

Well, 'Want' is still better than 'Streets of Gold', but still, the album is awesome! Buy it!

Thank You 3OH!3.,
This review is from: Streets Of Gold [Explicit] (Audio CD)
This cd isn't much like "Want" at all. I do miss the songs like "PhotoFinnish" and ChokeChain" but I do not think this cd disappoints at all. It's catchy, lyrically fun, and more pop than their previous work but I enjoy hearing 3OH!3 evolve as a group. Some may say that this cd is a sell out cd because they have gained so much popularity. I agree that "Streets of Gold" probably is but I am no less fond of it because I am absolutely in love with it!

This album was amazing so I don't know how you could give this CD a bad rating. I've had this album for a week now and I can't stop listening to it. One song is a little whack but other than that, gotta love 3OH!3

They're Maturing - and it shows!,
This review is from: Streets Of Gold [Explicit] (Audio CD)
Technically their third outing, 3oh!3 have come an extremely long way. The first self titled album had a few catchy songs, but their second album "Want" was chock full of those dance/electronica/dance songs that really got you moving. This time, they set out to make hits, and that's EXACTLY what they did. Every Song is catchy - each perfect for a night at the club.. A few have claimed that 3oh!3 went more "mainstream" but that isn't the case at all.. They needed this chance to shine... Get themselves out there.. And you can be assured the majority of these will be on the radio - Songs like "Touchin on my" and "Deja Vu" are perfect, and "We are Young" "R.I.P" along with "Love 2012" really show their maturity in the business. "I Know How To Say" tops them all though, as it takes you to places you really don't expect (Arabia) Seriously, Buy. This. Album. ^_^

I loved the first two albums and Streets of Gold did not disappoint. I have basically been listening to this CD every waking moment since it arrived at my doorstop.
