Thoughtful, thorough, and heavily researched quick-reference.,

This review is from: The Streets of Jerusalem: Who, What, Why (Hardcover)
Radiologist and non-practicing attorney Ronald L. Eisenberg presents The Streets of Jerusalem: Who, What, Why, a most unusual reference to Jewish history as well as Israel's streets. Arranged alphabetically like an encyclopedia, The Streets of Jerusalem consists of entries, most of which are one paragraph long, describing the histories of people in the Old Testament and more recent historical figures who have had Israeli streets named after them, and the meanings and context behind other street names referring to people or places. Black-and-white photographs pepper this thoughtful, thorough, and heavily researched quick-reference.

I love this book so much and have given copies to many friends as gifts. The book is great and it has photos of people streets are named after. I learned so much history. My fear is book wil no longer be published. Lately it is out of stock. I have had no choice but to buy used.
