This review is from: Streets of New York Volume 2 (Paperback)
The guys are down to three and someone has to pay for their lost...the revenge move has one on the run and the others legitimizing themselves.
Party at the Brooklyn Cafe and see the havoc that goes on there...are Show and Squeeze as legit as they seem or are they still the grimey thugs they were a year ago? Can Show and Squeeze win the war that's been started with only 2...will they have to employ thugs more treacherous than them ? Will they welcome Promise back with open arms? This segment answers questions left by part 1 but it also raises questions... 3*s.

Let me start this review on a positive note by saying volume 2 of this 3 part
series was much better then volume 1,When I saw that my man "Kwan" was going to be involved with this book,my expectations for a good read where somewhat high.Well I can honestly say that I was not disappointed with the results. This time around Pooh is dead,Promise is on the run from the Feds,Sqeeze and his boy Show are learning the hard way that even with legal money they have just as many problems as they did with blood money. They are now in a war with this violent, hot headed Dominican drug dealer named Carlos who is a dangerous and deadly individual to deal with.Promise has his own problems to deal with, besides the Feds trying to track him down,he now has an old school gangsta who wants him dead yesterday because of what happened to his neice Audrey. The female characters in this book had it a little rough this time around because the body count for them was a little high. The plot & story line where much better in volume 2 compared to volume 1,but character developement & attention to detail needs a little improvement, but with the way volume 2 ended you know volume 3 is going to be fire.
