No longer worth it., July 20, 2009
This review is from: Streets of Shadow: DU2 - Dungeon Tiles (D&D Accessory) (Board book)
For the original price of $9.99, this was a good product. Due to Wizards of the Coast's inexplicable decision to make these tile sets in limited batches (but yet continue to reference them in their current published works), these sets are the subject of greedy retailers jacking up the price beyond any reasonable amount. Don't buy for these outrageous prices. One could just reproduce these tiles one self (or similar tiles) with a small amount of craft work. Unless these are reprinted or brought down to reasonable prices, it's a huge ripoff.

Beware of the sewers, I mean streets, of shadow., May 7, 2009
This review is from: Streets of Shadow: DU2 - Dungeon Tiles (D&D Accessory) (Board book)
Good solid tiles like the other sets but really seems to be lacking the streets the set name mentions. The streets almost seem like a transition into the sewers which is the only example dungeon given with the packaging. However, there are plenty of nice horse-drawn carts, some vendor stands, a town square fountain and three or four rooftops and two crowd tiles. These tiles are worth the money but to really be useful for more than just one dead end alley you would need to buy multiple sets. Would really like to see some interior tavern and inn tiles with a dedicated urban setting. This should have been broken down into two separates releases, one being city and the other sewer.

Lacking in streets, January 3, 2009
This review is from: Streets of Shadow: DU2 - Dungeon Tiles (D&D Accessory) (Board book)
This is the most disappointing set of all of the tile sets I have purchased up to now. It could be great if you are doing a sewer dungeon, but as its called 'Streets of Shadow', I was hoping for some more streets. There are a few rooftop views and large courtyard/marketplace tiles, but that is about all you really get out of this set. It only gives you one sample dungeon (which is a sewer layout) as the front cover is lacking 3/4 of its paper (the tiles shown in the image are actual tiles, not a print like other tile sets have). The fire and ice(?) tiles shown are completely out of place as well, don't see much use for them in here anywhere, maybe should have been put with arcane corridors instead. The few city tiles included are nice, and the quality is as good as the older sets, it's just that its missing the advertised streets. I am happy with this product as is, I will definitely make use of most of these tiles, its just that I was looking for town tiles and I got sewer ones instead. "Sewers of Shadow" would be a much more accurate name.
