Oh how I adore these Streetwise maps! I can unfold them and RE-FOLD them with a minimum of fuss and no tearing... As compact as a regular map, laminated to withstand my coffee habits in the car, and quickly read while I'm wondering where I'm supposed to be going. They won't correct my wrong way tendencies but they'll definitely help!

I took this map on a backpacking trip in CA, it held up throughout being repeatedly stuffed into an overfilled pack and pulled out multiple times daily when we were on the road. I don't know how we would have survived without it!

I was really impressed. This folds easily and logically (unlike most other maps). It has lots of detail and will get you around CA. It folds back up easily. It's great for the backpack or travel kit in your car. You know it will hold up and you can pull it out and use it and not worry about it falling apart and getting wet or dirty. I have the CA map but there are others that are equally good for the areas they cover.

This map is quiet good. Compact, shows you the whole state and moreover guives you an overview of California main cities. Hard paper map, nice to make notes with a pointer and don't fold when inside purses.

It's a nice map, but I specifically searched for a map with county lines & this came up. It did NOT have county lines & I had to take the time to return it.

It is not Streetwise's fault, but there isn't enough detail on this map for it to be useful. So, if you are traveling around California, this probably isn't going to help you much. Spring for the thicker, but more useful travel atlas.
