Very handy to use for getting around on the Tube. The print is small though, so if you are a baby boomer, use your readers. Laminated and of good quality. Holds up to use and the expected London showers.

Travel tip: Check the London Tube website for information on what lines will have shutdowns on the weekends. They are doing extensive refits and repairs on certain lines for the up coming 2012 Olympics. The information changes weekly.

AND: Buy an Oyster Card for very much reduced fares on the Tube, as well as all buses and some trains. You can easily buy them at the airport and local Tube stations, newsstands, and money change stands. Just put a certain amount of money on it and recharge it as needed. No need to buy in advance. I kept mine in the corner of an outside pocket of my crossbody travel purse and just held the purse up to the reader and did not have to constantly take it out and put it back. Learn the bus routes from around your hotel, online, before you go and just keep some notes with you! The site is full of route maps you can print also. Every stop has a bus spider map and tells you clearly the routes that those buses take. The drivers are very helpful, as well. It is very easy to use and you get to see everything as you go. Loved it! We traveled even at peak hours and had no issues.

MAKE VERY sure that you touch the card to the exit reader on the TUBE as it will drain your card if you don't. On buses, just get off; you do NOT use the reader as it will just charge you for that route.

Didn't get wet, fit in pocket, accurate, handy, what more could be wanted. I marked it with a fine point sharpie to find stuff.

I have very limited time in London on an upcoming trip, so I want to waste as little time as possible traveling between points. I love the size of this Tube map -- don't want to be weighed down with heavy guidebooks either! The size will make it easy to pack -- though it also makes the map a little harder to read, especially with older eyes.

If you're an American traveling in London, this map is indespencable. If you ask someone in London how to find something, you'll quickly realize that we speak American, not English, and their answer though thoughtfully and politely given, will be a struggle to understand. This map is indestructable and holds up in nasty London weather, has all the stops and routes for the Tube which makes affordable inter city and airport travel easy, and list all the spots you wish to see on you're trip. Good map. I'd buy it again if I didn't already own it.

This map is incomplete. Only includes the biggest tube stops. You can get a free map at most tube stops that is much better than this map. Don't waste your money.

Ordered this map for multiple travelers on our London trip because it is (1) laminated (indestructible) and (2) offered "hot spots" as opposed to the publicly available tube maps which make no reference to landmarks. I was not disappointed on those two points. However, I was a little confused when I bought it that the ~ 8" x 3" size was folded, and that it was going to be roughly the size of a sheet of paper. It is not! That is the FULL SIZE of the map. Fold it in threes and it is the size of a credit card. So it is TINY by map standards, and that makes it difficult to read for older eyes. Otherwise, couldn't be happier with the purchase.

This is a great map of the London Underground system. It is small enough to be folded and put in a wallet (it is scored to make folding easier), but laminated and extremely durable. It contains all tube stops in the system, and has a map key and very small information box on the back; best of all the price is right. Don't go to London without this mini-map. I also recommend the "Streetwise London Centre City" map to go with this indispensable product.

I picked up two of these great little maps for my friend and I before we visited London for a week in March 2011. We both had iPhone/iPod apps that could map for us, but these were much handier (and safer) to keep in our pockets, and easier to grab quickly. They're durable, easy to read, and pre-scored to fold into a perfect pocket-size trifold. WELL worth $1.95!

This map is available for free at the tube stations in London, so only purchase it online if you need to study it ahead of time (and because the tube map is so simple to read, you will not need it ahead of time, in most cases).

I kept this little map in my back pocket while in London. I was able to pull it out very discreetly, when needed, and minimize the lost tourist look. It is a little bit hard to read in some places due to the small print. But that's a good tradeoff for being very portable and discreet.
