5.0 out of 5 stars Great Help in Mexico City
There's no doubt that Mexico City is massive and intimidating, but this little map was extremely helpful for a tourist to get around the various sites in the city. It is a perfect size to fit into your pocket or backpack, and it's made of sturdy laminate so it will stand up to some heavy wear and tear. 2.0 out of 5 stars Not all that useful
This isn't quite a streetmap of Mexico City so if you don't intend to buy a guide of the city then you won't be disappointed by this map. What it does show you are some less than ideally detailed maps of the center city (from Chapultepec to about the historic score) and a little north and south. Not that useful if you wanted to make it out to other parts of the city like...

There's no doubt that Mexico City is massive and intimidating, but this little map was extremely helpful for a tourist to get around the various sites in the city. It is a perfect size to fit into your pocket or backpack, and it's made of sturdy laminate so it will stand up to some heavy wear and tear. All the spots in the city you'd want to visit are included and there's a map of the subway (a great deal at about 20 cents a trip) on it as well. Highly recommended.

This is a handy map of Mexico City to keep at your side... especially if you do not plan on lugging around larger maps during your day trips around the city. I just got back from 10 days vacation in Mexico City and found the map very useful for planning my subway rides as well as associating which neighborhoods are located where.

This is a must have map for the traveller to Mexico City who likes to wander. The streets are well marked on both the map and in the city. The only section that seemed weak, was the map of Coyoacan, which was less detailed than the rest of the map. Nonetheless, it was enough detail to get by and wander around on foot freely.

What it does show you are some less than ideally detailed maps of the center city (from Chapultepec to about the historic score) and a little north and south. Not that useful if you wanted to make it out to other parts of the city like Xochimilco for example. This is not that useful unless you plan on staying confined to this area of the city.

I don't know why one can't buy a full map of Mexico City -- I guess the place is just too big?? This map came in handy, though, during a recent trip. The metro markings really helped. It folds up and you can take it out while ducking inside a Sanborn's or something so you don't look like a complete lame-o.

You can't possibly get the entire freakin city on one map!!! but this map gets the best parts, and the most likely visited tourist parts on two nicely folded and laminated sides. YES there are a lot of typos--and this is distracting to me, a Spanish Prof. I got over it. I wanted to get out my red pen, but I refrained, because it's got most of the sites I needed in doing research and generally navigating El Ombligo del Mundo--the Navel of the world. I've been to Mexico City dozens of times and I've used a sharpie pen to mark on this map the places I've been to and I've kept track of useful sites over the past six???? years I've used it. Unfortunately I laid it down somewhere earlier this month and I LOST it!!! I've tried in vain to replace it, and NO the Guia Roji just doesn't cut it--it's too big and clumsy. Other tourist maps don't do what this one does--they fall apart! When I get home I'm going to buy another Streetwise from B&N and remark it as best I can... *sniff...

This isn't a map of Mexico City as a whole; that is, you can't spread it out and see where the various areas are in relation to each other. But the reason I couldn't use it is because the area I was interested in, Condesa, is obscured by an "inset". They might as well have placed a bumper sticker over this part of the map.

This map is only a very partial section of the city. It is absolutely useless, unless you plan to only go to the main tourist areas. If you are like me, and need a map of the streets of Mexico City, for work, study, play and to explore the city, then this is not the map for you. It is not a street map of Mexico City. Thousands of streets are left out. Most of the city is missing from this map. Do not rely on this map to help you find your way around if you are coming to Mexico City to do business or if you have friends who live in Mexico City. It may only be useful for a quick visit to the city for tourist purposes.

waste of money - out of date, full of typos (the "Isreal" embassy, "Jaurez"....doesn't inspire confidence in the accuracy of the info) wish I had gotten the guia roji instead.

Worst map/purchase ever made, never again.

Look like Mexico City is totally incomplete & I know Mexico City.

This was purchased for a friend who is traveling to the city of Mexico.
