There are some good ideas in here, but the book is so poorly written and redundant that the good information is hard to extract.

Seriously, this is the ONLY book you need when it comes working out. Short enough but straight to the point. If you are truly willing to develop a work out regimen where you will actually see results, forget all the personal trainers and the talk you hear from others in the gym....James Chan presents to you a book that is straight-forward, no-nonsense, and exactly what you need. Check out his youtube videos if you don't believe me. His own physique shows that he puts his money where his mouth is.

I think that anybody interested in healthy living and training will profit from the information provided in this thin book. It's down to earth, uncomplicated but it outlines the main principles that will help you to achieve visible results. Don't expect anything unheard of. However, if you look for help, experience, simplicity and reinforcement you find that. I am glad that I bought this book.

I was very impressed with this book, and its breadth of articles. Ideally suited for bodybuilders both beginning and experienced. I gained a much better understanding and appreciation for how one can go about achieving their specific goals for obtaining the ideal physique. This book shows you practical steps and valuable information that will leave you wanting more. A must read for bodybuilding and workout enthusiasts.

James' passion for training shines through in this book as he not only walks you through targeted exercises for each area of your body, he delivers a functional and comprehensive program on how to get the results you are looking for whether its bulking up on muscle or getting lean and mean.

His easy conversational tone makes you feel like he's in the room walking you through each exercise.

Coming from someone who has first hand experience and benefited from his programs - if you want to get strong and buff or lean and mean or all of the above - this is the book for you.

You'll read through this book and think "Damn! I want to do all of these exercises and workouts right now!" The training ideas that this guy talks about in his book are truly innovative and are meant for the hardcore bodybuilder who knows the basics. The author doesn't dumb down this material at all, and yet he explains the training concepts so well that a beginner could pick it up. I found this book to be a damn good investment.
