Good introduction into aircraft stress analysis,
By Buxton Richard (Boise, ID United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stress Without Tears: A Primer on Aircraft Stress-analysis Requiring No Advanced Mathematics (Paperback)
This book does an excellent job of explaining some of the fundamentals of aircraft stress analysis and gives the reader a better idea of where to go for more detailed information. Not enough detail is provide to give a beginner enough knowledge to do a real analysis because things are simplified. The title is appropriate. If someone wants to do real stress analysis on aircraft, they probably need an engineering background and a book like Analysis and Design of Flight Vehicle Structures by E.F. Bruhn.
