This dress is more fushia than black as it appears in the ad. I thought it was darker. Nonetheless, I like the dress and will get great use out of it as I walk up and down the streets of Chicago letting it flow in the wind!

That is the way this dress makes me feel. It flows wonderfully. Even though though the chest is lightly padded, I still wear a strapless bra underneath - but that's not actually a complaint. It also breathes! I haven't felt this pretty in a dress in a long time. I ordered the patchwork pattern. I was afraid it would be a little too bright, but it's thankfully darker then in the photo, without being too dark so you can't see the pattern. Subtle and lovely patchwork pattern. I also think it's very flattering for ladies of a curvy build. I'm a bit on the larger side and have an hourglass shaped body, and it's very slimming and smooths out your 'shapes' very well. He-he.
This also doesn't have to be a casual dress. It would be a wonderful and breezy thing to wear during a summer evening wedding. Just match with an equally silky bolero or shrug and a nice pair of wedges or wedged sandals and you'll look elegant (and be super comfortable)! I plan to do just that. I plan to buy another (not in the patchwork pattern) for my sister's summer wedding this year. TL;DR : Beautiful , comfortable, and highly recommended. ^_^
