Easy to use and protect furniture from rain and dirty moving blankets.
Marcos Twaincos
It was a high quality stretch wrap that was not thin and was very easy to work with, even without buying handles for it.
TheFalcon7
Worked great and was a lot cheaper than going to the local hardware store to pick one up.

If you're in college and you're moving college furniture - do you need this, no, but if you're moving furniture worth a bit more than a futon, then this is quite a blessing. Order from Amazon and save a good bit than if you bought it the day of moving at marked-up prices at a local moving company.

The day I tore a corner on a nice suede couch is when I knew I'd stretch wrap my furniture, after noticing some professional movers doing the same at a house in my neighborhood. I started researching and came to Amazon for the best price.

I've wrapped a lot of furniture from full length mirrors to sectionals to various dressers and I have more than 3/4 left.

I had to help get a couch up some stairs and through a tight hallway and at one point, we had to slide their couch on the concrete floor to position it at an angle. No worries, the stretch wrap worked great. For the price, it is cheap insurance.

Also, you're guaranteed to hit at least one door jamb in a move and instead of nicking your nice wood furniture, this stretch wrap is great preventative 'insurance'.

Obviously this has many other uses, but I bought it for moving and it's been worth every single penny!

UPDATE: 3-19-2013 - It's been ~3+ years or so and we still have some left. Not sure exactly how much, since I don't remember what a full roll looks like, but my sister-in-law recently borrowed this to move a few items we were storing for her. Still works great and gets the job done.
UPDATE: 7-25-2014 - It's now been 5 years! and after tomorrow's move we will be completely out! Have lost track of what we've wrapped with this, but it has been a lot! UHAUL does sell a 20"x1000' with handles, but do realize, this one is *1500'* or 50% more in quantity for essentially the same price, so keep that in mind when comparison shopping! Amazon still wins, especially IF Prime shipping is available.

Stretch wrap is a household staple for me. I began using it to wrap my entire Christmas tree (the 5 ft. one) ornaments and all. I have great storage areas, so I wrap the thing, next season, move the tree in place, cut the wrap, and with minor adjustments, it's done. Moving furniture with strech wrap is awesome. It saves the furniture and the walls. I use the wrap several times a year for different reasons. I have never ordered the handle spool, but next time I place an order, I'll order the handle. Stretch wrap user for 5+ years. We kayak on overnight River trips and I often wrap clothing, sleeping equipment, or dry staples in the wrap even though we use water proof bags. No, I've never used it on the body to surprise my husband when he comes home. I'll save that adventure for the movies and for younger chicks out there! lol

Used this for two moves and it works great. I use it for wrapping furniture so that it doesn't get scratched as it is moved to and from the truck and also during the actual movements of the truck, vibrations and such. It certainly won't protect your furniture from a solid hit. However I have found that it also can work like a giant roll of tape. You can secure drawers with it. You can tape blankets to wooden furniture with it. Also a little trick:Take a card board box that is closed and taped and cut it into eighths, so you have 8 corners of cardboard. Place one of each of the cardboard corners on the corners of a piece of furniture you want to move, and then use this wrap to secure the corners. Essentially you have each piece of furniture in its own box. You can also protect your mattresses and couches from dirt and gunk by wrapping them up in it. Heck you could even wrap your wife in this stuff.
It is best used if you wrap it tightly, often stretching it with each pass. Takes some practice. As a side note. Home depot sells a similar product that comes with a handle. It is green in color. But it is much much thinner, does not last as long, and did not seem to be as effective in protecting. I used one roll of this stuff to do my whole house but a few items, and used a whole roll of the Home Depot stuff to do those 2-3 items and they still looked like they needed a little more.
One roll should do a 3-5 bedroom home.

I've used this stuff pretty heavily on my move. I suggest looking up Youtube videos if you're not sure how to use it. Ideally you'd use it in conjunction with moving blankets, but I didn't do it because moving blankets are a little pricey.

Halfway through wrapping, like, everything I own, I started questioning whether it was worth the trouble. After all, it's not like the stuff is thick - how much can it really protect?

Well, moving day came and went, and I have to say that you'd be really surprised the minor dings and scratches this stuff saves. No, if you hit a door with something there won't be any cushioning. But if someone is carrying a desk? It might stop his belt buckle from scratching the finish while he carries it. It might also help when your buddies put your headboard for your bed upside down, and the only thing from scuffing up the posts is that little double wrap you did. I watched a bit horrified as my friends slid my relatively new mattress along the floor of the moving truck. It came out fine.

It provides *just enough* protection against the casualties of moving stuff around that is usually meant to be stationary. It also helps keep bookcase doors and drawers shut as you move things. It protects the finish of your paintings against your own sweat.

It is moving day *must*.

You'll also end up finding random uses for it - my favorite is bundling stuff together. It works great because there's no tape residue to deal with, it's cheap and disposable, highly adaptable, and surprisingly strong when you do multiple layers. I also wrap stuff that has a tendency to be a pain, like plastic bins - no more tops popping off.

As far as this specific item is concerned, it is fantastic.
