This product works like magic - but it does take four weeks to start it off. Adult acne in women has an average lifespan of 20 years. I started with Proactive, and it worked but it was too expensive. After reviewing ingredients, I came to realize that this product would probably do the same as Proactive since it had the same Benzoyl levels. The only difference is that this product costs a mere 6 bucks a month as oppossed to 40 or higher a month depending on when one got into the Proactive plan.

Benzoyl Peroxide has been scientifically proven to kill the bacteria that create acne. It can't help existing acne. That's why it takes a month to SEE the difference. After a month of prevention you'll see that new pimples are not coming round. The second and third month I had only a couple of inflammatory pimples arise. I've now been using this product for two years and I have had COMPLETELY clear skin from month 4 till now.

It's really important to not ever use Benzoyl Peroxide at any percentage higher then 4% simply because the drying effects are exacerbated. 2.5% does the same prevention work without drying. It takes your skin two weeks to get used to the Benzoyl, but after that you will find that your skin has plenty of natural oil that allows one to look youthful. Once all the current pimples and current pimples in the making run their course, you will have the clear skin you've been fighting for because Benzoyl will prevent the slightest conception of bacteria.

These are a terrific product for teenagers and others battling with acne. Conveniently packaged and effective Benzoyl Peroxide makes it a winner.
