If you enjoyed the movie you'll enjoy this soundtrack. Each track vividly reminds you of the movie scene in which it was played. And even if you didn't like the movie, there are some fun tunes on here. There are several classics such as 'Love Is In the Air' by John Paul Young, 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' by Doris Day, 'Os Quindins De Ya Ya' by Stanley Black as well as a sweet cover of 'Time After Time'. It's all good for listening to, relaxing to, but most of, for dancing to!

Great variety of wonderful music you will remember from the feel-good film and an especially welcome break from sitting in traffic if you keep it handy in the car.

Always loved this film and finally decided that I should have the iconic soundtrack songs and dancing music too. Unfortunately the particular edition being sold now is sadly inferior. I almost wouldn't mind the jewel case insert that looks like it comes from a template in Microsoft Word. However what's worse are how the track titles and numbers printed on the case are quite simply wrong. Something must have become shuffled at some point so it's all the same songs, just in a different order. Great music, poor release. I would recommend what I've already owned for awhile Something For Everybody: Baz Luhrmann which has nice highlights from Strictly Ballroom.

Loved the movie so I thought the soundtrack would be good. I was wrong - the soundtrack is amazing. On of my favorite CDs. Listen to it all the time.

Very good movie - fantastic lead dancer. Music is good but a mix and not all danceable. All in all good movie & good soundtrack.

I love the movie and have watched it numerous times, but this soundtrack is definitely NOT from the movie. "Perhaps" is NOT sung by Doris Day; "Time After Time" is NOT sung by Tara Morice; and there are NO lyrics in "Rumba de Burros." I'm wondering if I received a different CD than the reviewers above did. If there were a category of zero stars, I'd click it. This CD is going into the garage sale.

I found this CD after trying to find a compilation CD containing "love is in the air" also has a nice song by Doris Day, the other Ballroom songs really aren't my style but worth it for what I wanted.

I made the mistake of thinking it was the video. It was music only. I am not please with my mistake.

This is a good mix of music, however it may not be for everyone which is why it didn't receive a higher rating.
