But this sudden change from all business to all pleasure wasn't without its share of consequences.... ------------------- This was a very good read from start to finish. It's not often that I like a character after just reading the first page; but I did. Kara was spirited and very realistic in her thoughts and feelings. I liked the elements with the ghosts and the characters. The only reason I'm not giving this a higher rating is I think Cooper needed to be developed just a tad more, at least where Kara's concerned. But I've read worse in both those departments and in this book, it's only a tiny, tiny complaint. Overall the pace was good and I now need to find the other two in the series!! I'd definitely recommend this for a fast and well-written read. |
