My daughter has worn this style shoe for 2 years now - it's one of my favorites from Stride Rite. They are very well made, quite comfortable according to my daughter and apparently so popular that WalMart even has their own Kid Connection version of the shoe (obviously differing in quality).

One other reviewer said she was disappointed at how small they were compared to other shoes in the same size. This happens with everything - you can't count on a size 8 shoe being the same and fitting the same everywhere. If you are familiar with how Stride Rite runs, the "size" of the shoe would not be a surprise. My daughter wears a 9 in Stride Rite but a 7.5 or 8 in all other brands which is mainly why we stick with Stride Rite...for the consistency. Trying to find the right size shoe anywhere else is just such a nightmare and a waste of time (trying endless sizes until you find what size fits in that particular brand and style). If you have your child measured instead of guessing, you'll know the correct size to buy. Compared to other Stride Rite shoes, they seem true to size, no smaller than any other style in the same size.

I have been and continue to be a huge fan of Stride Rite. Hate the cost but I think it's worth it to know that my daughter is getting the best quality out there with the best support for her growing feet.

Just bought these shoes for my 18 month old daughter. They are great, and go with both casual and dressy outfits. She usually wears Stride Rite shoes, and I ordered these without a problem. She also has a narrow foot, and these fit perfectly. I could possibly see a problem with kids with a wider foot, but think that the wide or x-wide sizes would compensate for that. I hope that these shoes (or something similar) are available once she grows out of these.

My 4 year old daughter will be going into her fourth pair of these this fall. They are a great shoe, it looks so cute with dresses or pants/jeans. We have never had problems with the size, however we had the fit checked at a Stride Rite store before she ever wore them.

I will be sad next year when she no longer fits into this shoe!

My daughter has wide feet, so when I saw this shoe available in wide, i couldn't resist. she wears other styles of stride rite shoes in wide widths with no problem. this shoe never fit right. it is too tight at the top. my daughther cried every time i tried to put them on. these are very cute shoes, but the fitting is poor.

Normally I like Stride Rite Products because I know that they will fit right. But this pair of 7W were too SMALL for my daughter's foot and she's sized at 6.5. This was a very disappointment.

There was only one size available when I ordered and they just happened to be the right ones! These are really lovely and the price was right too!

The Shoes are great Quality. Stride Rite never disapoints. They were true to size. I am very pleased with purchase. Highly Recommend!!!!!

I think that overall, these were a great deal and price. I originally bought them for my bigger twin daughter, but they were too tight on her. Typically, Stride Rites run true to size, but I felt this were a bit more narrow. I wound up giving them to my smaller twin and she loves them.

I purchased these for my daughter to wear over the holiday's. I bought an size larger than she wears (8) only to find the shoes are made very small and she could not wear them... Dissapointed

Compared to other shoes the same size, these were too small & my daughter has never been able to wear them. I was disappointed in these Stride Rite shoes.
