5.0 out of 5 stars Profound Jewish thought on a variety of subjects, October 12, 2004
This review is from: The Strife of the Spirit (Hardcover)
This is my favorite of all the Steinsaltz works that have appeared in English. It contains a variety of interesting essays on many different topics. It is highly recommended.
Yet a certain reticence in regard to contemporary issues in a sovereign Jewish state troubled me a bit about this work.
