Not useful at all. You could learn everything in this book by clicking around ebay for half an hour. The author claims over 10000 ebay transactions but does not even reveal his ebay ID!

1000 words is not enough to accurately convey the depths to which I was appalled by how horribly written, useless, and completely overpriced this book is. First, the type is double-spaced which in itself isn't a reason to hate the book, but it doesn't help since the entirety of the book is roughly 80 pages. Second, the writing is so bad that I was actually ANGERED. A high-school freshman could have proofread that book and done a better job. Finally, there was no information in the entire book that could not be derived from common sense and information found directly on the eBay site. I bought this book at the local B&N, and I promptly returned it the next day. This book is by far the worst book I have ever seen, and I would gladly advise anyone against purchasing it.

Please for the love of god get rid of this book. Amazon should pull this book and sue the author/publisher for false advertisment and false identification.

I can gurantee most if not all of those 5 star ratings are either by the author or family members.

Geez grow up mike and learn to write proper english.

AVOID THIS BOOK LIKE THE PLAUGUE! Petition Amazon to remove this book from their list.

I'm another one that should have read the reviews before purchasing this book. This has to be the worst book I've ever attempted to read. The writer can barely form a logical sentence and his instructions are difficult to understand. He must have published it himself. I can't believe that Amazon would carry this piece of garbage.

This book would get it.

What dreck! If by some small chance, after you've read the other reviews posted here and are still thinking about buying this book, slap yourself and move along to the far better choices like eBay for Dummies.

The only one in danger of striking it rich with this book is the author, which is frightening.

I have never left a review on Amazon before but I have to. I was so disappointed with this book. I should have read ALL the reviews here instead of just the last few. Whoever said this book is worth it's weight in anything is wrong. It's not even worth the paper its printed on. Large type, double spaced, and tells me nothing that I could not learn form the Ebay site. Waste of time - I'm returning it.

It's getting painfully obvious who has written the good (5 star) reviews and who has written the REAL (2 or less star) reviews. It's obvious from the author's description, as well as to anyone who has read this booklet, that the author can neither spell nor use english grammar correctly. Funny that none of those giving his book a rave review can neither spell/use grammar correctly, and in some cases they failed to spell their OWN city's name correctly. At least make it believable Mike.

I was interested in purchasing this book before I was scared away by the reader reviews. By chance, I happened to find it at a garage sale and for 10 cents I just couldn't pass it up. What a waste of a perfectly good dime! It really is the worst thing I have ever read. I feel stupid for having wasted 45 minutes of my life reading it.

In addition to the countless spelling and grammatical errors, there is also absolutely NO information in this book that you cannot get for free by reading the Ebay help section for new users and believe me; the Ebay site will explain it much more clearly.

I have to wonder if the reviewers who say this is the best book they've ever read have ever really read another book! I've read better written mattress tags. Save your money and your time.

Please Mike, stop having your mother write five-star reviews for you and for Pete's sake, learn how to spell!

This brief, apparently self-published volume, is an example of sombody just trying to make a buck by praying on unsuspecting souls. We are not supposed to judge books by their covers. But seeing this guy holding fists full of cash should be warning enough. It should remind you of an infomercial all promise no content. Once inside, he offers no insights or advice of any merit. You'll learm more on ebay or through experimenting selling some merchandise.

This is my second review. Why? Because I felt I was maybe a little harsh with the first one. Well, I was wrong...if I could give 0 stars, I would. If you can't figure out what to do on ebay on your own, then you shouldn't own a computer. They spell it out for you, and you don't need this guy's book to help. My 10-year-old runs his own auctions, for crying out loud! There are no secrets in this book, except, perhaps, that this guy is laughing all the way to the bank. Please read all the one-star and two-star reviews before you buy this book. Better yet, buy the book, see for yourself, and then RETURN IT!!!!!!!
