The combination of the art of Brant Parker and the witty words and gags supplied by Johnny Hart are a joy to behold. Together they create this wonderful cartoon entitled: "The Wizard of Id" for fans worldwide to enjoy.

This book is a collection of strips from the daily and Sunday cartoons that showcase The King, The Wizard, the Drunken Court Jester and the rest of the cast of this land found somewhere long ago. My favorite strips feature the Executioner that has a very sharp wit and a huge axe to grind (sorry, I had to!) But, this is a timeless voyage into comic strip greatness, this book captures the spirit of this wacky world in a very fitting manner. I own a few books about this comic strip and I enjoy them all. You really cannot go wrong with any collection from this comic as the art and words are as good as it gets.
