I was ecstatic when I found this cd and I bought it right away. After listening I can tell you I definitely wasn't dissapointed. I even had people who have claimed before that they did not like My Chemical Romance say that they liked the tribute to them. Everything is very well put together, I think it makes an excellent cd.

I love this cd. It does MCR a lot of justice. I do think that they deter somewhat from the originals, but I think it adds to the cd. The Jetset Life is Gonna Kill You is a great cover. It blends perfect elements. I like the cd, but I wouldn't pay 17 dollars for it like they are asking for on here.

It is not a horrible cd at all, but I would not suggest people who do not really like their music get it. Some of the ways they wrote the stuff out could of been better to stay more true to the original, but over all I like it.

I couldn't believe how good a buy this was. The strings are fantastically the same as the original instrumentals. I could easily recognize the songs, and the tone was simply great.I admit there were a few moments where the notes seemed offkey but the rest completely made up for it. And the last song at the end, number 13, is just WOW. It was composed by the players and inspired by MCR. it turned out great and was merely the cherry that topped it off.

If you are an MCR fan or have no clue who they are, these are enjoyable to listen to. The arrangements are well done and balanced; there is no "filler" or thin music in this CD. I recommend it for my fellow orchestra and band persons, or anyone looking for something different. Even if you like death metal this CD has some very good musical qualities. Pair CD with folding laundry or a cup of tea for a relaxing evening. Very well done.

This is a great sounding CD. If your a big fan of MCR you'll want this string quartet tribute added to your collection. The songs are from the guys first two CD's..."I Brought You My Bullets..." and "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge." They're beautifully transposed over to a string quartet of two violins, one viola, and cello. This CD gave me a even better appreciation of MCR's music writing skills. Put this CD in for the old folks and surprise them when you reveal their not just enjoying classical music...it's PUNK ROCK!
