Great arrangements, but an inaccurate track listing,

This is a great CD, with a lot of depth and emotion. I find these stringed arrangements to be consistent with the original Matchbox songs, although the track listing on this CD is inaccurate. For example, where track 3 is listed as "If You're Gone", it is actually "3am". Further examples:Their Track Listing The Accurate Track Listing So, this CD is certainly worth the money, as it is quiet, yet poignant. Just know that the listing on the back and in the liner notes in inaccurate.

Quite pleasing...,

I think this is one album that Matchbox Twenty fans should definitly look into. I must say that you should not expect any sort of guitars or any instruments of that sort. The instruments used, as stated on the back cover of the case, are violins, cellos, violas, and bass. Of course, there may be some other unknown instruments used, but don't expect to be jammin' to the beats or anything. Anyway, let's review the album.
This albume consists of 9 Matchbox Twenty songs and 1 original composition. Each song is arranged to sound just like the original, except with different instruments, or course. You can go to any song and you'll know which one it is just a few seconds into it... that is, if you know the original songs as well. And sometimes you might actually want to sing to them too. The only down side to this album is that, when I first started listening to it, each song was kind of repetitive. Not that each song sounded the same, but the songs sort of repeated themselves. But I got over that quickly, and it doesn't bother me anymore. Anyway, overall, it's a great album. It's an excellent addition to a fan's collection. I just wish that they waited another year so they could do songs from Matchbox Twenty's album "More Than You Think You Are" and get some more songs onto this.

Good Match,

I bought this CD and flipped. I am a big MB20 fan, and when I heard the starting notes of "Bent" I flipped. It was extremely well done for a quartet of musicians. I suggest if you like MB20 then you should buy the CD.
