Why didn't I think of this before? We used to have guitars on floor stands, and had to move them around for sweeping or getting into cabinets or drawers. Now they are off the floor and out of the way. Plus, they are beautifully displayed! These hangers are well made with attention to detail - including the cushioned ends and hanging hardware.

Easy to set up easy to use. Comes with every thing you need just sink it into the wall. A great space saver.

You want to hang your axe on the wall? This does the trick nicely. It is a simple block of a nice, good looking piece of wood with a sturdy brace that will gently cradle the neck piece.

The kit comes with sturdy dry wall anchors, two neoprene washers so you do not leave a big mark on momma's wall and the screws needed to pull it all together.

Not much else to say. It does what it says it will and looks good doing it.

I bought two and I'll be buying two more soon.

I had gotten one of these around Christmas for a new guitar I had gotten and it cost me at least $18 but i found it to be of great quality. When I had found it here for less than half the cost i was amazed. I was ordering a new acoustic on here anyway so I ordered one and it was the exact same one. Even better was that I ordered it a day after i ordered the guitar and it came 5 days before the guitar. I completely recomend it.

I've purchased similar wall hangers from some of the online musical instrument dealers for $12 to $14 and was skeptical when I saw these for around $9. I am happy to report that the structural quality is as high as the more expensive options and (to my surprise) the wood grain is much better looking than the picture would indicate.
Others have suggested that these be mounted to a stud but the included drywall anchors, when installed correctly, are very secure and would easily withstand the heaviest guitar you have (unless, perhaps, you play a 4" thick solid ebony instrument). If your studs are 16" apart, you could utilize them (staggered mounting if necessary) and get a fairly dense wall of guitars but if your studs are 24" apart you'll have a large (8"+) gap between instruments and may wish to opt for drywall anchors for some instruments as I have.

The back of my acoustic instruments (000, 00, Parlor & Classical) sit well clear of the back wall so I haven't had the need to put protective backing on the wall behind them (consider some backing if children or careless adults will be removing & replacing instruments from the wall). If you plan to use these for electrics, I'd opt for the electric specific hangers so they hang closer to the wall.

As a guitar builder, here's some advice for any newbies:
Keep your instrument in it's (humidity controlled) hard case except when playing. Failing that, keep it up high using a wall hanger and control humidity for the entire room (40 to 50%). I've seen far too many instruments get damaged when sitting down on a guitar stand.

I wanted wall hangers without the industrial look, and these fit the bill. I ordered two, one for my vihuela and one for my guitar (I ordered a smaller one for my ukulele as well). They wall mounted easily without much effort, and fit both of my instruments. I probably wouldn't have used them if they didn't have the roll on rubber stoppers. The necks of my instruments twisted in the hangers and wanted to fall out until I installed those, and now they don't budge. These hangers are a nice way to keep my instruments out of my floor space, and they look nice too.

I bought this for my guitar so that it would be easier to grab and play whenever the time was right. I got the violin-sized one for my wife. The product is well designed, comes with the necessary hardware, is easy to install and looks great. Instruments are works of art; put them out so all can see!

The wallmount works great, very good price, shipped promptly, and its good to see it was made in the USA...

I bought 4 of these for my practice area and also my bedroom. They look great and are very sturdy. They come with wall anchors. However, I would recommend that you mount them into a stud. I just don't trust putting a $2,000 guitar on a mount using wall anchors. Works great with Ibanez and Gibsons. I would not purchase if you are considering it for a Fender Telecaster. The head of a Telecaster is just too small to securely rest in the cradle.

These are easy to install and look fabulous with a guitar hanging in them. Just one word of warning. If you love your guitar, do not install these on exterior facing walls. Why you ask? Well if you live in a climate where there are extreme temperatures, the back of your guitar is going to be affected by those temperature changes. Over time this may destroy your guitar. Just mount these units on your interior walls and you should have no problems.
